Meet Dr. Jeff Spaw the new Medical Director of Orthopedic Surgery at Huntsville Memorial Hospital. Dr. Spaw brings over 20 years of experience to his new practice at HMH Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. Board Certified orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Spaw provides high-quality, compassionate care for patients with a full spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions. With a focus on treating the whole person and not just the disease, Dr. Spaw spends time getting to know his patients. He specializes in joint replacement surgery of the knee, hip and shoulder. Offering the latest techniques, including anterior hip replacement, robotic assisted joint replacement and revision surgery. He has extensive experience treating a wide range of conditions from sports injuries to chronic joint pain and arthritis.
After earning is bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University, he went on to obtain his medical degree from Texas A&M College of Medicine in 1993. He completed is residency training in Orthopedic Surgery at Scott & White Medical Center in Temple, Texas. Dr. Spaw is a devoted Christian husband and father. Married to Brittany Sheffy Spaw, they have 8 children.
