BENEFITS OF A HOSPITAL-BASED CLINIC
Patients and their physicians can take comfort knowing that therapy is delivered in the security of a hospital environment. We utilize smart pumps to ensure precise dosage delivery and many of our medications are developed by our expert team of pharmacists on-site. In addition, our Outpatient Infusion Clinic is backed by an accredited laboratory and is certified by the Center for Improvement in Healthcare Quality (CIHQ). Patients can relax during their infusion in our tranquil and inviting atmosphere. Also for patient comfort, we have provided recliners, access to a large screen TV with cable, and free WIFI.
SCHEDULING & INSURANCE
Huntsville Memorial Hospital accepts most commercial insurance and Medicare. Our goal is to assist patients in knowing their financial obligations based on their insurance provider prior to their therapy appointment.
Infusions may take several hours, while some require a shorter period of time. Due to the nature of the services provided, it is important that all patients arrive in a timely manner. Patient should wear loose comfortable clothes. If patients have a central line or implanted port, please ensure that your clothing allows ease of access to the line.
