Thank you and congrats to our latest WOW winners… an amazing mother/daughter duo Dolores & Brittney Ortiz.
Dolores has been part of the HMH family for 14 years, starting in Housekeeping and then became a C.N.A in 2015. Dolores has had 11 nominations in the past 2 months: 7 from patients and 4 from coworkers. Here’s some of what they had to say about Dolores:
“Very helpful and always a pleasant attitude. Made sure I didn’t feel like a burden.”
“I love her! She made me a hot pack when there were no heating pads available. Came super-fast whenever I pushed the button. I cannot say enough good things about her. She’s an angel.”
“Always cheerful and eager to be helpful. Dolores went out of her way to arrange for my husband to sleep in the empty bed in my room. She checked in regularly to see if we needed anything. So nice to see someone enjoying their job and being very efficient. She is caring and has a great personable and professional attitude.”
“Today as I passed through IPR Lola was taking the time to make a patient look and feel just lovely. She had put makeup on her, fixed her hair and you could tell she felt lovely. What a treasure.”
“Lola is always willing to lend a hand. There is no one that makes me more excited to work with than Lola! I know if she has my patients they will be extremely well cared for. She values teamwork, and that is something I appreciate so much. She has the biggest heart and truly cares about her patients and coworkers.”
Brittney joined the HMH family at only 17 years old and has made a big impact in her first 9 months on the job, with 4 nominations from patients in one month!
