Women's Health Unit

At the Huntsville Memorial Hospital’s Women’s Health Unit, we provide maternal and child services, including Level I and Level II neonatal care, antepartum nursing, gynecological services and LDRP with five birthing suites.

Surgical/Pediatric Unit

In the Surgical/Pediatric Unit, we offer care to pre and post-operative patients receiving orthopedic and general surgeries. We have an excellent nurse/patient staffing ratios and can offer 12-hour shifts with every other weekend off.

Medical Unit

In the Medical Unit, our nurses treat up to 37 patients with multi-system disease processes, such as diabetes and congestive heart failure. We also treat telemetry and Hospice patients. We are also dedicated to patient and caregiver education.

Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit

The Inpatient Rehab unit is directed by a physician who is specially trained in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Our unit has large, spacious private rooms and we provide care plans designed specifically for the patient’s needs. Our team is multidisciplinary, with specialists in medicine, nutrition, social work, nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech therapy. Our unit provides rehabilitation services in a hospital setting for:

  • Stroke
  • Spinal Cord Injury
  • Amputation
  • Major/Multiple Trauma
  • Hip/Femur Fracture
  • Brain Injury
  • Burns
  • Neurological Disorders
  • Hip/Knee Replacement
Perioperative Services

The Department of Perioperative Services is a multi-specialty service department that encourages personal and professional growth and development. Courses for surgical staff to support and develop clinical competence are encouraged. Our team is comprised of a number of specialists in the areas of:

  • General Surgery
  • Vascular
  • GI Endoscopy
  • Orthopaedics
  • OB/GYN
  • ENT
  • Urology
  • Ophthalmology
  • Pain Management
OR and PACU Unit

The OR and PACU nursing unit is a dedicated team of professionals providing technical hospital skills with compassionate hometown care. We offer flexible scheduling, Monday through Friday with on-call duties for after hours, weekends and holidays.

Nursing Fellowship Program

HMH nurses are a dedicated group with advanced capabilities and a passionate approach. Once we are accepting applicants for our program positions will be posted as RN – Internship. Applicants interested in applying to the HMH Nursing Fellowship Program should do so by applying online and submitting the following:

How to Apply

To apply for a position in the Huntsville Memorial, you will need to register with our application portal to submit your application. Registering means you do not have to call to check on the status of your application. Instead, you can log-in to check on the status of your application. Registering also saves applicants time if they plan on applying to more than one position with us as well.

If you do not have internet access, our HMH Human Resources Department has desktop computers onsite that applicants can use. We ask that applicants do not call our facility about the status of their application. If you have been selected for an interview, an HMH representative will be in contact with you.
