Whether this is your first baby or your third, we know that every pregnancy is different, as is every child. Question or concerns might occur during this time and we want you to know we are happy to assist you in any way that we can.

Our Perinatal Classes
Our perinatal classes are combined in one day. It is held on a Saturday every other month. We will cover prepared childbirth, baby care, and breastfeeding. It will also, include a tour of the hospital where you can learn what to expect with your stay here for you and your new baby.

The first class is the Prepared Childbirth. This class is sure to ease some of your anxiety and questions regarding the labor and delivery process. We will discuss how to time your contractions, when to come to the hospital, what to expect when you get here, the stages of labor and how to naturally manage labor, and then what happens during the delivery and immediately after.

The second class is the Baby Care Workshop! Here you will learn basic infant care that every new parent needs to know such as feeding, diapering, bathing, sleeping habits, infant safety and playing with your baby. This is a great time to talk with one of our nursery staff and ask any questions you may have.

The third class is the Breastfeeding Class. It is one of the most popular classes that we offer, and is taught by our very own Lactation Consultant. Packed with information, you are sure to leave feeling very prepared, comfortable and ready to give your baby one of the best gifts you can give him/her. Whether you are certain that you will breastfeed, or if you just need more information before making your decision, this class is for you!!

The last session you will learn car seat safety and if you bring your car seat, you will learn how to install it in your own car. This class is taught by Amy Moser who is a child passenger safety technician.

We look forward to meeting you and your family soon, and experiencing with you, the joy of you and your new arrival!!
