Speech TherapySpeech Therapy provides individuals evaluation and treatment to rehabilitate spoken and written language, cognition, voice, articulation, fluency and swallowing in children and adults who experience disabilities resulting from illness, injury or delayed development. Augmentative communication devices may be utilized in conjunction with traditional strategies. A licensed speech and language pathologist evaluates a patient's communication and/or swallowing disorder and develops an individual treatment plan working with patient, family, physician, and other health care providers toward the goal of restoring communication and/or swallowing.
