The Hitachi Oasis, the world’s most powerful truly open MRI system, is now at the Huntsville Memorial Hospital Outpatient Imaging Center. Unlike previous open MRI

systems which sacrificed image quality for the open design, the Hitachi Oasis is a true High-Field MRI with some of the most advanced imaging capabilities ever introduced on an MRI system.

EXAMS OFFERED INCLUDE:

• High resolution imaging of the brain and spine, including imaging of the cranial nerves and dynamic studies of the pituitary gland.
• Exquisite orthopedic imaging, including high resolution waterexcitation imaging of articular cartilage.
• Pediatric MRI examinations without sedation using RADAR motion correction sequences.
• Free-breathing abdominal MRI studies of the liver, pancreas, kidneys, spleen, and gallbladder (MRCP).
• High resolution breast MRI. HMH is the only facility between Houston and Dallas to offer breast MRI on an open magnet!
