Neon for Neurons Color Run

Join Huntsville Memorial Hospital at the fourth annual "Neon for Neurons 5K Color Run & Walk" on Friday, May 5, 2017. Neon for Neurons is a fun way to bring awareness to stroke here in Walker County and to kick off National Stroke Awareness Month in May. Participants can honor loved ones affected by a stroke by purchasing a personal message sign to be placed along the run route. Registration will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m., and the run will start at 8 p.m. Participants should wear glow-in-the-dark accessories and will be showered with neon color powder along the raceway. For information on pre-race activities, registration and fees, log on to: www.neonforneurons.weebly.com

Proceeds from the run will benefit stroke treatment and education in Walker County.
